One of the main things I miss about my C6 was the exhaust note. I had a Corsa Xtreme paired with a stage 3 cam, long tube headers, and an aftermarket x pipe on that car. The stock exhaust on the C7 actually isn't too bad with the valves open, but come on. "Isn't too bad"? I wasn't satisfied with that! So today, I installed a Corsa 14777BLK exhaust on my C7 Z06.
The 14777 is a particularly interesting exhaust in that it is a variable sound exhaust equipped with valves. With the valves closed, the exhaust is directed through the 2 center pipes, which are baffled. The result is something in between the stock exhaust with the valves closed/open. Opening the valves allows the exhaust to travel through the outer 2 exit pipes, which basically route around the outside of the muffler and are not subjected to any baffling. This is about as close to a 'straight pipe' as you can get, without truly straight piping the car. The result is...well... 'xtreme' as Corsa's marketing team would say. Even in this ...
